1. HEC in water based paint
Paint and Coatings are the largest application area for HEC. HEC is used as a dispersant, thickener and pigment suspending agent in the production process of latex coatings to stabilize the viscosity of the product, reduce agglomeration, and make the paint film smooth and smooth. The paint thickened with HEC can be applied by brushing, rolling, filling, spraying and other construction methods, which has the advantages of labor saving, not easy to drip and sag, and less splashing. 2. HEC in petroleum industry
HEC is mainly used as a thickening stabilizer in the oil field treatment process.
